A preparation method of a depurant for a drinking water pipe using sodium silicate is provided to create dust-free clean environment by using solidified sodium silicate cullet in a composition for the depurant, and reduce manufacturing costs by reducing melting time of the composition as much as 2 to 3 hours at a low melting point of 1,400 deg.C. A preparation method of a depurant for a drinking water pipe using sodium silicate comprises uniformly mixing a composition comprising 60 to 76.5 wt.% of sodium silicate cullet that is a base material of sodium silicate(Na2SiO3) as a principal component, 12 to 20 wt.% of sodium carbonate(Na2CO3), 4 to 8 wt.% of sodium pyrophosphate(Na4P2O7), 1 to 3 wt.% of sodium tripolyphosphate(Na5P3O10), 5 to 8 wt.% of sodium phosphate(Na3PO4), 1 to 2 wt.% of potassium carbonate(K2CO3), and 0.5 to 2 wt.% of calcium carbonate(CaCO3); injecting the mixed composition into a melting furnace to melt the composition within 4 hours; and discharging the molten composition from the melting furnace to obtain a glass phase crystal. The preparation method further comprises: injecting a cooled glass phase compound into an autoclave; and melting the compound using a pressurized vapor of 5 to 6 atmospheric pressures to fractionate the compound into a liquid phase. |
