<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pressure monitoring system for OF cable which can surely judge the existence of abnormality of an OF cable oil feeding system, and an oil pressure monitoring system for OF cable which can judge not only the existence of abnormality of the OF cable oil feeding system but also the seriousness of the abnormality of the OF cable oil feeding system. <P>SOLUTION: The oil pressure monitoring system for OF cable judges the existence of abnormality by measuring the oil pressure within the OF cable 1 by means of oil pressure sensors 101-A1-C2 arranged each in the intermediate joints (SJ) 2 arranged at both ends of one oil feed section of an OF cable line, and comparing the measured oil pressure value with a first threshold, and computing the interphase oil pressure difference from the measured oil pressure values of A phase, B phase, and C phase of the OF cable 1, and comparing the computed interphase oil pressure value with a second threshold.
