PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable metal container which can keep volume extremely small when not in use, facilitates assembly, and has a high strength, non-flammability, and a high heat conductivity without producing static electricity. SOLUTION: The foldable metal container 1 is provided, comprising a square-shaped tubular section 2 with four wall plates 3 being connected through hinges 3a in a corrugated manner, and two door plates 5 connected through the hinges 3a, in an openable/closable manner, to the openings 2a of the square-shaped tubular section, while characteristically having a locking port 4 bored in the vicinity of at least one opening 2a of the square-shaped tubular section, and a locking strip 6 provided on the door plate 5 connected to the opening where the locking port 4 is bored so that the locking strip 6 is freely engaged/disengaged in/from the locking port 4.
