PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of keeping high deodorization performance by catching object components to be treated in air without releasing them again. SOLUTION: The gas cleaner 100 is provided with a liquid resin material 140 for generating radical polymerization and a discharge element 150 for generating a radical for radically polymerizing the liquid resin material 140. By bringing the object components to be treated contained in the gas into contact with the liquid resin material 140 and radically polymerizing the liquid resin material 140 by using the radical generated by the discharge element 150, the object components to be treated are caught.
