PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chocolate confectionery containing whole cacao bean and having a nut-like texture. SOLUTION: The chocolate confectionery containing cacao bean is constituted such that the surface of the cacao bean of a hole shape without hull is impregnated or covered with a saccharide, such as trehalose, erythritol, xylitol, and mannitol, and/or an edible water-soluble polymer, such as hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and carboxymethyl cellulose.
