The linear guiding has a guide rail, which is provided on its two opposite lateral sides (1.1,1.2) with running surfaces (2) for support rollers (3). The running surfaces are mutually aligned to each lateral sides at an angle of 90[deg] with a cartridge (4) slidably guided on the guide rail. The cartridge engages around the guide rail in a U-shape and is provided with running paths (5) assigned to the running surfaces of the guide rail for the support roller. The running paths are formed from the running wires (13) inlaid in the guide rod. The running wires are formed in semi-circular shape.
