A method and an apparatus for controlling a mix signal are provided to reproduce a remixed signal of a user repeatedly by using control information which is stored for mixing a signal. A mix signal controlling apparatus includes a memory(1120) and a controller(1110). The memory stores source control information for respective IDs of a mix signal. The controller reads the source control information corresponding to the mix signal from the memory based on the ID of the mix signal, and outputs the read source control information to a processor for the mix signal. A display(1140) displays an interface. When the corresponding source control information is not stored in the controller, the controller displays a source information input screen on the display. An input portion(1130) enables a user to input the source control information.
