PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase speeds by enabling write data to be accepted into a data holding part, at least two clocks or more before the timing to start write in a memory-cell array.

SOLUTION: The semiconductor storage device comprises a memory-cell array 21 for inputting or outputting data according to clocks; and a control part 52 which has data holding parts 60-1, 60-2 for temporarily holding the write data in the memory-cell array and which is designed to be capable of accepting write data in the data holding parts, at least two clocks or more before the timing to start write in the memory-cell array.
