<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the output of an inflator by providing an inflator bag having a small volume. <P>SOLUTION: An inflator bag device 1 is arranged on a side surface of a seat cushion 12 on the side adjacent to a door D of an automobile. A guide member 4 for guiding a high-pressure gas jetted out of an inflator 3 extends to an inflator bag 2 prior to the deployment of the inflator bag 2 so that the inflator bag 2 is moved upwardly to the abutting position on a waist Ph of an occupant P. As a result, the guide member extends to move the inflator bag upwardly to the abutting position on the waist of the occupant prior to the deployment of the inflator bag, and the volume of the inflator bag can be reduced.
