PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel member fastening method capable of providing an edge having excellent appearance and obtaining the high fastening strength even when a panel member is constituted of a three-dimensional shape having many curvatures in the edge or even when the rigidity of each plate member is different. SOLUTION: In a panel member 10, an outer panel 14 and an inner panel 16 overlap each other and an edge 17 thereof is fastened by seaming. At the edge 17, a fore end face 14a of the outer panel 14 is housed by the outer panel 14, and held by the outer panel 14 and the inner panel 16. A flange 16b as a bent part is formed on an edge of the inner panel 16. At the edge 17, the outer panel 14 and the inner panel 16 are laminated at least in four folds. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
