<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub of a horizontal axis wind turbine which is light weight and balanced in terms of strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the hub 1, a reinforcing plate 4 for connecting with a spherical shell 2 at a periphery is structured in a circular region G inside of a circular flange 3 for fixing a blade. A single eccentric opening 5 eccentric to a point C side and including a center B of the circular region G is formed in the circular region G.
