PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which yarn entanglement-preventing plan which has been adopted conventionally for low foot guide could not directly be applied in so-called high foot guide in which priority to fly distance is given. SOLUTION: A fishline guide is designed such that: when viewed from the side, a holding ring 3 is made to fall on a forward side to a side leg 5 and a protrusion length (w1) of the side leg of the holding ring 3 from a horizontal projection width range (w0) is≥0 and≤1.0; when viewed from the front, contact point (x1) of an outside profile line 6 of side support leg with outer periphery side profile line 4 of the holding ring 3 exists on a position of 80% of a horizontal maximum width range of the outer periphery side profile line in the lower half of the holding ring 3 or at its upper position; an intersecting point (x2) of a horizontal line (Y) passing through a lowest point of inner peripheral side of the holding ring 3 with the outside profile line 6 of the side support leg 5 exists on a position of 80% of a horizontal maximum width range of the outer periphery side profile line of the holding ring 3 or at its outer position; and the outside profile line of the side support leg exists on a vertical line passing through the intersecting point or on the outside of the vertical line between the intersecting point and the contact point or in a shorter part between the intersecting point and horizontal center line of the holding ring 3.
