PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan with a support which can suppress noise and can position the fan with respect to a heat sink, and thereby can efficiently fix the fan to the heat sink, and also to provide the fan and a video display device. SOLUTION: The fan A with the support comprises the fan 2 which has a frame 20 and cools the heat sink, and the support 1 for supporting the fan 2 so that the fan 2 and the heat sink face each other. The frame 20 is equipped with first to third vibration-absorbing rubber holding portions 21, 22 and 23 for holding vibration-absorbing rubber 3, 3 and 3 for preventing the propagation of vibration from the fan 2 to the support 1. The support 1 for holes 11b and 11c for positioning fixing portions of the fan 2 with respect to the heat sink, and is so structured as to support the fan 2 via the vibration-absorbing rubber 3, 3 and 3 held by the first to third vibration-absorbing rubber holding portions 21, 22 and 23.
