PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a cylindrical fuel cell having high yield and to provide the cylindrical fuel cell.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cylindrical fuel cell having a cylindrical barred unit cell has a substrate tube extruding process for extruding a cylindrical substrate tube 11 in a flammable shaft 20; an element forming process for forming the cell element comprising a fuel electrode 13, an electrolyte 14, an interconnector 17 and an air electrode 15 on the surface of the extruded cylindrical substrate tube 11; and a baking process for baking the cylindrical substrate tube 11 having the cell element on the surface and eliminating the flammable shaft.
