PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a railway rolling stock which can reduce welding marks from an outer plate as much as possible and enhance product value. SOLUTION: The structure is equipped with a side structure, which consists of an outer plate 12 including an opening, a frame 11 joined to the outer plate 12 along the opening from the outside, a reinforcing member 13 provided to the inside of the outer plate 12 and extending in a longitudinal direction of the railway rolling stock and a side pillar provided so as to extend along at least one side of the frame 11 and including a first flange part 15b and second flange part 15c so as to sandwich a channel part 15a extending in a direction therealong. The reinforcing member 13 is provided so as to be protruded to an overlapping part with the frame 11 from the outer plate 12. The side pillar 15 keeps the first flange part 15b connected to the reinforcing member 13 and the second flange part 15c connected to a part which is an overlapping part of the outer plate 12 and frame 11 and has no reinforcing member 13.
