PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body side structure for a vehicle which can be integrally formed with an outer panel by press forming, without enlarging material plate material used for pattern cutting. SOLUTION: The body side structure 3 comprises the outer panel 4 integrally formed by press forming, an inner panel 5, and a reinforcement 6. The outer panel 4 has a front pillar outer portion 12, and an outer front end lower portion 13 extending downward from the front pillar outer portion 12. The inner panel 5 has a front pillar inner portion 26 and an inner front end lower portion 27 extending downward from the front pillar inner portion 26. A flange portion 43 of the reinforcement 6 is joined to the inner front end lower portion 27. A lower edge 23 of the outer front end lower portion 13 comes close or contacts with an outside surface 45 of the flange portion 43 of the reinforcement 6, at an upper part than a lower edge 36 of the inner front end lower portion 27 and a lower edge 44 of the flange portion 43 of the reinforcement 6.
