The device has a shell (2), where the shell has a covered area, in which a glow device (1) is arranged. The shell is provided with a front limiting wall and a cover wall in a partial area and a handle that is designed in a thermally insulated manner. A contacting device is provided for current supply of the glow device and is arranged at an outer side of the shell. The contacting device is designed in a heat-resistant manner, and a time switch clock is provided for controlling the glow device.
