PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a torsional oscillation mirror by which the frequency of the torsional oscillation mirror including a torsion spring and a flat mirror accompanying optical deflection is accurately and efficiently adjusted in a certain range of a limited frequency regardless of the existence of manufacturing error, and acquisition/display of an image is performed and the error of sensing quantity due to a disturbance of light is reduced, to provide the torsional oscillation mirror on which the method of adjusting is applied, to provide an optical deflector in which the frequency of the optical deflection is adjusted by applying the torsional oscillation mirror, an ophthalmology apparatus using the optical deflector and a distance measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: In the method of adjusting the torsional oscillation mirror provided with the torsion spring 112, the flat mirror 110 and an actuator B1 of which the angular dependency of torque increases or decreases at a position at which a torsion angle (mirror angleθ) becomes zero, the oscillation frequency of the torsional oscillation mirror is adjusted by performing a bias driving.
