TITANIUM ALLOY SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT BENDABILITY AND BULGING PROPERTY, AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the mechanical strength of an industrial pure titanium sheet material to a fixed level or above, and to improve its bendability and bulging properties in a balanced manner. SOLUTION: The titanium alloy sheet having excellent bendability and bulging properties has a composition comprising 0.8 to 2.5% Fe and≤0.06% O, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities, and has an equiaxialα+βtwo phase structure. In the case the texture of the rolled sheet face is measured, the angle between the direction showing the peak of the (0001) pole figure of anαphase and the normal direction in the rolling direction is≥40°.
