The invention relates to printing engineering and can be used for printing a drawing on an article which is made of foamed polystyrene and is used for the interior of different purpose rooms. The inventive method for printing a drawing on an article made of foamed polystyrene, consists in bringing the polystyrene surface into contact with a printing plate, the surface of which is provided with a drawing, and with a printing ink, wherein a print matrix is embodied in the form of a fine-meshed screen, the surface of which is arranged on the plane of the polystyrene surface and is provided with a drawing which is obtained by means of filling the screen areas with an ink-proof material and the polystyrene surface is brought into contact with the ink through the surface of the printing form.
