UPPER STRUCTURE FOR SHOES

Provided is an upper structure for a shoe, which can improve the fitness of a heel portion from a heel grounding time to a kicking time. The upper structure comprises an upper body (30), and an outside upper member (31) arranged to overlap with the instep side of the upper body (30) and fixed at its lower side edge portion (31a) on the upper body lower face thereby to cover a foot talus (T). The lower side edge portion (31a) of the outside upper member (31) has its rear end (A) arranged on the back of a load center line (C) of a calcaneus, and the outside upper member (31) has its rear side edge portion (31c) disposed separately of the upper body (30) at the back of the talus (T). A shoelace (4) is connected to the instep side edge portion (31b) of the outside upper member (31). A longitudinally extensible region (10) is disposed on the instep side of the heel portion of the upper body (30). The extensible region (10) has its upper end extended to the cuff of the upper body (30) and its lower end (B) arranged in front of the load center line (C) of the talus and below the height (h) of 55 % as high as the lateral malleolus height (H) of the foot.
