<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet assembly in which grommet mounting is simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The assembly is composed of combination of the grommet 11 and an expansion/contraction member 13. The expansion/contraction member 13 has a fixed sleeve 29, a mobile sleeve 31, numerous arms 33 extended radially from the mobile sleeve toward an auxiliary flange part, a hook part 39 installed at the tip part of each arm via a hinge part 37, and numerous links 35 linking the tip parts of the fixed sleeve and intermediate parts of the arms. The hook part 39 of the expansion/contraction member is mounted on the auxiliary flange part 17 of the grommet. When the mobile sleeve 31 is retreated, opening of the radial arm 33 is small, and the auxiliary flange part 17 of the grommet is pulled inward by the hook part 39 and the diameter of the auxiliary flange part is maintained in a shrunk state, while when the mobile sleeve 31 is made to proceed forward, the opening of the radial arm 33 becomes larger, and the hook part 39 is arranged to be rotated outward so that the diameter expanded state of the auxiliary flange part 17 is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
