PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resinated article with little contribution to internal pressure rise, capable of generating pyrolysis gas enabled to efficiently extinguish arc occurring at break of the circuit, and endowed with heat resistance standing temperature rise and a voltage-withstanding property standing the internal pressure rise at that time, as well as a circuit breaker using the same. SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker provided with a fixed contactor 5 having a contact point 7, a movable contactor 1 having a movable contact 6 to be contacted to the fixed contactor and for making a switching operation of the fixed contactor, and an arc-extinguishing device constituted of a grid 2 and an arc-extinguishing chamber 13 for extinguishing arc generated at the switching operation of the fixed contactor and the movable contactor, the resinated article is molded from a resin composition containing polyolefin resin with a part of hydrogen atoms of a methylene chain substituted by hydroxyl groups as the arc-extinguishing chamber 13 and containing 0.2 to 0.7 mol hydroxyl group to 1 mol methylene group, with X-ray crosslinking applied afterwards.
