PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever-type connector capable of preventing pushing movement of a detection member while the connector is not in a regular insertion and engagement state. SOLUTION: The detection member 50 is assembled in the installation part 38 of a slide lever 30 mounted on a harness side connector 10 in a state that pushing movement from an initial position is restricted since a contact face 60 and a regulating face 41A normally abut each other, and only when both connectors 10, 70 are in a regular insertion and engagement state, it is released of restriction of pushing movement by a releasing projection 77 provided in the equipment side connector 70. Thereby, pushing movement of the detection member 50 in a state the both connectors 10, 70 are not in the regular insertion and engagement state (that is, non-engagement state or half-engagement state) can be prevented.
