PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific cell absorber for selectively absorbing a specific cell from a cell-containing liquid which has a variety of properties by improving the cell absorption selectivity of the specific cell absorbing material where a ligand having affinity to the specific cell is held in a water insoluble carrier. SOLUTION: In the specific cell absorber, the specific cell absorbing material for holding the ligand having affinity to surface antigens of the specific cell in a fibriform water insoluble carrier filling a container having a blood entrance and a blood exit. The specific cell absorber has an average fiber diameter of the specific cell absorbing material between 7μm and 20μm and an average inter-fiber distance of the specific cell absorbing material filling the container between 11μm and 38μm.
