PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a manipulator for a metal sheet, including a pickup means (8) for picking up a metal sheet (4), with the pickup means (8) connected to a rack (3) which is connectable to a first pinion (1) and an operation head (9). SOLUTION: There is provided a manipulator including at least a second pinion (2), with a first pinion (1) and the second pinion (2) arranged along a moving path of a metal sheet (4). At least one of the first pinion (1) and the second pinion (2) is engaged with the rack (3) every time, to move the rack from a certain part of the operation head (9) to another part.
