In a method for the intermittent occlusion of a vein draining the organ system, wherein the vein is occluded by means of an occlusion device, the fluid pressure in the occluded vein is continuously measured and stored, the course of the fluid pressure is determined as a function of time, and the occlusion of the vein is triggered and/or released as a function of at least one parameter derived from the measured pressure values, pressure is applied during the occlusion in a pulsing manner. The device for the intermittent occlusion of the vein comprises an occlusion device (5), a pressure measuring device (7) for the continuous measuring of the fluid pressure in the occluded vein, and a repository for the course of the fluid pressure as a function of the time, is characterized in that means (8) are provided for applying pressure in the occluded vein in a pulsing manner. |
