PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To escape the water accumulated between a gas-permeable membrane 22 and a cover 20 even if a gas detector is turned upside down and to make the height of the cover 20 constant with respect to a side wall 17. SOLUTION: Gas sensors 5 and 6 are arranged in the side wall 17 of an upper case 9 and an opening 10 is covered with the gas-permeable membrane 22. Double inside and outside projections 25 and 26 are provided to the cover 20 and the outside projections 26 are welded to the side wall 17.
