The device (1) has a reflector (3) including a reflecting surface (9), and a section (2) defining front and rear surfaces (1a, 1b) of a bumper. The section has a visibility window (8) of the reflecting surface formed in thickness of the section. The reflector is fixed on the rear surface at the level of the window, while the surface is arranged against the window. The surface is visible via the window from the front surface of the bumper.
