An electro-optical apparatus, a driving method, and an electronic apparatus are provided to execute high quality display by suppressing horizontal crosstalk using a configuration which inverts the polarity of recording for every scan line. An electro-optical apparatus includes pixels(110), sampling switches(144), a scan driver(130), a sampling signal outputting circuit(142), and capacitors(156). The pixels, formed at cross section which scan and data lines cross each other, displays gray scales according to the voltages of data signals supplied to the data lines. The sampling switches, arranged on data lines respectively, sample data signals having high or low voltage through image signal lines(146) according to sampling signals. The scan driver selects the scan lines. The sampling signal outputting circuit outputs sampling signals to blocked data lines according to a sequence. The capacitors are connected between data lines and inversion image signal lines, which receive inversion data signals inverted from the voltages of the data signals supplied to the image signal lines.
