A facsimile machine having an input unit, through which a user inputs an instruction to the facsimile machine, and capable of transmitting facsimile usable data to an external machine, which is communicably connected to the facsimile machine and identified by a unique destination ID, is provided. The facsimile machine is characterized in that a detecting means for detecting a correct destination ID of an intended external machine among a plurality of destination IDs entered in the facsimile machine based on a coincidence between at least two of the plurality of destination IDs, at least one of which is inputted in the facsimile machine through the input unit, and a transmission controlling means for transmitting the facsimile usable data to the intended external machine being identified by the detected correct destination ID. |
