A conduit duct 10 for passing conduits through building components, such as walls and ceilings, comprising a jacket tube 11. Arranged on the outer periphery of the jacket tube 11 is a thread-forming screw thread 13 which extends from a first axial end region 15 to a second axial end region 16. A centring section 24 is arranged in the first axial end region 15 between the thread 13 and a first end 25 of the jacket tube 11. In a preferred embodiment, the thread has a trapezoidal configuration with threaded ribs 14 which are rounded radially. Ideally, the thread height is within the range 0.7mm to 2mm and the thread pitch is within the range 4mm to 26mm. |
