A safety seat for a dog comprises a back section <B>1</B> attachable to a car seat by the car's seat belt, a base section 3 and a harness <B>4</B> which attaches to the back section. The back section <B>1</B> may be slightly curved to conform to the car seat. The back section <B>1</B> may also incorporate D rings for attachment of the harness. The back section <B>1</B> may have a removable cover <B>2</B> which may be attached to the back section <B>1</B> by means of hook and loop fastening. The base section <B>3</B> may be padded and have raised sides. The back section <B>1</B> may be made of plastic. |
