Toothbrush with coated surface and method of production thereof

The toothbrush has a handle (64) with a hard component (10) comprising a metallic covering (44). The metallic covering is covered with another hard component (48) by injection molding, where the two hard components are firmly and mechanically connected together without a formation of a material connection. The hard component (10) has a molding separating line, and the metallic covering runs continuously over the separating line. The component (48) and a guide component comprise an adhesive agent for connection with the covering. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a toothbrush.
