<p>A touch screen apparatus and a touch mode changing method are provided to easily allow a suer to convert a touch using mode into a touch restricting mode without using an additional input device. A touch screen apparatus(10) includes a touch sensor(11), a coordinate generator(12), and a touch screen driver(13). The touch sensor senses touch on a display(50) of an image display system(30). The coordinate generator generates coordinate data based on the touch sensed by the touch sensor. The touch screen driver operates in one of a touch using mode in which the image display system is notified of the coordinate data, and a touch restricting mode in which the notification of the coordinate data is blocked. When the coordinate data satisfies a predetermined restriction cancellation condition in the touch restricting mode, the touch screen driver displays a pop-up window for converting the touch restricting mode to the touch using mode on the display.</p> |
