A mobile terminal and an information display method therefor are provided to allow a user to easily read and search information without moving a cursor. A controller(250) configures information on a menu as a list, and controls to display information on the list by changing their display order at a certain time interval. A display unit(240) displays the list under the control of the controller. The list proceeds in one direction from an upward direction to a downward direction, from the downward direction to the upward direction, from a left direction to a right direction and from the right direction to the left direction. The controller moves a cursor on the list at a certain time interval to change the display order of the information. When the cursor is positioned on corresponding information among the information on the list, the controller controls to display details of the information with a certain size.
