<p>The invention relates to a cylindrical arbor-type cutter for straight edge and wide profile, meant for machining straight or profiled surfaces. According to the invention, the milling cutter comprises a cylindrical body (1) co-axially mounted on a hub (3) and some teeth (2) tipped with some hard plates (4), the body (2) having cut some alternating circular channels (d) which are straight and parallel to one another and penetrate the teeth (2) up to a hub (3), in order to cool the body (1) and eliminate the internal strain, the plates (4) having the shape of a baguette with a rectangular cross-section and a length equal to the cylindrical body (1), the geometrical arrangement thereof generating, by chip removal, a plane wood surface.</p> |
