Disclosed is a unit dosage form for the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome, wherein the dosage form comprises 0.001 to 0.05 mg of ramosetron hydrochloride as a once daily dose. Also disclosed is the use of the particular dose of ramosetron in the manufacture of a medicament.
