METHODE OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE

A manufacturing method of a display device is provided to form a light interception member and an alignment key simultaneously, thereby simplifying the process of the display device. A light interception member(220) is formed on an upper substrate made of transparent glass or plastic. The light interception member is arranged at the peripheral area except for the display area of the upper substrate. The light interception member forms a ring shape for encompassing the display area. A common electrode made of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) or IZO(Indium Zinc Oxide) is formed on the light interception member. The common electrode forms an electric field together with a pixel electrode so that the direction of the liquid crystal particles of the liquid crystal layer between two display panels is determined. The pixel electrode and the common electrode form a capacitor.
