An array substrate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a TN(Twisted Nematic) LCD having the same are provided to supply the common voltage to each common line without the time difference simultaneously. Gate lines are formed on a substrate. Data lines are crossed with the gate lines and define pixel areas. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is connected with the gate line and the data line. A pixel electrode is formed on the pixel area and connected with the TFT electrically. A common line(240) is formed to the pixel area. A pair of first common voltage supply lines(220a,220b) are connected with the common line and formed toward the first direction. A pair of second common voltage supply lines(230a,230b) are connected with the common line and formed toward the second direction crossed with the first direction. The pixel electrode forms the first storage electrode and the common line forms the second storage electrode. A storage capacitor is formed at the portion overlapped with the pixel electrode and the common line. |
