Magneto-dielectric field concentrators (3) having a concave shape (3a) distributes power to a surface of support cone (2), where the magnetic field is guided on external parts of an multi-zone inductor (5) by the concentrators or laminated sheets. The concentrators are combined with the screen. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Induction heating apparatus for bracing and unbracing a steel cutting tool e.g. helve ring. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The electromagnetic screen formed of the electricity conducting material e.g. copper, protects a steel cutting tool from magnetic field effects, thus heating the support cone without the need for heating the tool in order to unbrace the tool, while ensuring resistance to heat and shocks. The utilization of magneto-dielectric field concentrators and the inductor optimizes or improves distribution of power to the surface of the cone.
