PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration method of a resin molded article which can execute a pattern having concavo-convex having a suitable depth on the front surface of the resin molded article while the entire deformation of the resin molded article is suppressed. SOLUTION: First, the resin molded article 2 is manufactured by forming a front layer 22 having a lower thermal deformation temperature than that of a base layer 21 on the front surface 21a of the base layer 21. Then, the front surface is decorated with the pattern on by heating the front surface 22a of the front layer 22, and then transferring the decorating roll while the decorating roll is pressed to the front surface 22a of the front layer 22, thereby transferring the rugged shape of the decorating roll to the front surface 22a of the front layer 22.
