POLYESTER FUSED AND DRAWN FALSE TWISTED YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fused and drawn false twisted yarn small in difference of average non-untwisted length and average non-untwisted ratio, having harshness, dry feeling and proper stiffness, capable of obtaining a high quality woven fabric causing no vertical line and horizontal unevenness after dyed, having small quality difference, and to provide a method for producing the yarn. SOLUTION: The polyester fused and drawn false twisted yarn, which has in the longitudinal direction, non-untwisted parts and an over-untwisted parts having reverse twisting form to the non-untwisted parts and satisfies properties of following (1) to (4), is provided: (1) when the average length of the non-untwisted part is an average non-untwisted length L, 8.0 mm≤L≤18.0 mm; (2) when the ratio of the non-untwisted part in the yarn longitudinal direction is an average non-untwisted ratio P, 35%≤P≤45%; (3) when the standard deviation of the average non-untwisted length L is Lσ, Lσ≤1.5; and (4) when the standard deviation of the average non-untwisted ratio P is Pσ, Pσ≤1.5.
