PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate copolymer having little coloration not only after being polymerized but also after molded, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in electric characteristics. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate copolymer comprising 0.1 to 50 mol.% of monomer units represented by formula (1) and monomer units represented by formula (2) is characterized in that the content of bisphenol compounds is≤90 mass ppm.
