PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control camera platform system such that even control contents of a camera, which are possible only with radio signals can be controlled by a camera platform by enabling the camera mounted on the camera platform to be controlled by using radio signals. SOLUTION: The television camera 18 stored in a housing 14 of the camera platform 10 and a CPU 52 on a control board 50 installed in the housing 14 are able to communicate with each other through cable connection and transmit a radio signal by using infrared rays. The CPU 52 judges which of the communication through the cable connection and the transmission of the radio signal is used to transmit a control signal to the television camera 18 according to the control contents of the control signal supplied from a camera platform controller.
