PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that relay station search in the conventional digital broadcast receiver searches a relay station which can receive using relay station information written in a NIT (Network Information Table) of a broadcasting station during viewing and listening, but it requires time for search if a number of relay stations increases. SOLUTION: A search time can be shortened by reducing a number of relay stations which are objects of the search by carrying out search of relay stations which can receive using a relay station information memory unit 21 which stores broadcasting station identification information and frequency information of the relay stations received during channel searching and a frequency list which is obtained searching the relay station information memory unit 21.
