<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an online coupon distribution method which allows a purchaser to select and pay to buy a plurality of various coupons and which validates the coupons when using them. <P>SOLUTION: In an online coupon system in which a seller's terminal, a purchaser's terminal, a coupon distribution server and a terminal of a store where the purchaser uses a coupon are connected to each other through a network, the online coupon distribution method comprises a step of registering coupons to be sold by the seller's terminal, a step of selecting a specific coupon and providing its purchase intention information to the coupon distribution server by the purchaser's terminal, a step of requesting the purchaser to make a payment for the coupon by the coupon distribution server, a step of generating a code number and an authentication key in pairs after confirming the payment from the purchaser and storing the generated code number and authentication key by recording them in a coupon database by the coupon distribution server, a step of transmitting the code number to the purchaser's terminal by the coupon distribution server, and a step of transmitting the authentication key to the purchaser's terminal or an authentication key receiving terminal by the coupon distribution server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
