<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which stores sodium bisulfite with consideration of safety, namely stores it without losing its usefulness as a reducing agent. <P>SOLUTION: A water treatment apparatus with a chemical washing device for obtaining filtrate water from raw water by using a filtration membrane is equipped with a sodium bisulfite storage tank with an air or inert gas introduction device.
