PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for optimizing a quantity of data transferred between communication devices. SOLUTION: An own-device detection vehicle data list is generated from information on surrounding vehicles detected by a radar and the like (S113). An other-device detection vehicle data list has same kind of data as the own-device detection vehicle data list is received from another vehicle, and duplicate vehicles are deleted from the own-device detection vehicle data list (S130 and S135). In a similar manner, a roadside device detection vehicle data list is received from a roadside device, and duplicate vehicles are deleted from the own-device detection vehicle data list (S155). Consequently, redundant transmission of vehicle information is prevented, and the total quantity of the data transferred between the communication devices can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
