[PROBLEMS] To provide a process by which non-discolored, shape-stable microneedles and microneedle arrays can be produced without impairing the sharpness of needle points in molding and while protecting the molecular weight from decrease due to hydrolysis; and products made by the process. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A process for the production of microneedles which comprises the feeding step of feeding a resin fluid to a mold provided with needle forming sections having an opening diameter of 50 to 200µm and a depth of 100 to 450µm, the filling step of filling the resin fluid into the needle-forming sections, and the solidification step of solidifying the filled resin fluid by cooling, characterized in that the feeding, filling and solidification steps are conducted under a reduced pressure or vacuum. |
